Professor Hojo is one of those things that I am verklempt about.
I have made -such- a huge stink about him that it's not even funny.
People still probably remember all this from the old days of my site.

I've spent a good portion of my life being his fan, and I don't intend to quit anytime soon.
You'll notice there's just about the same amount of fanart here just of Hojo (and probably more) than
there is just in the FF7 Archive. ^^ And even off of this, I still keep Stripes seperate from all this.
Here's a link to the bigass fanfiction section. You'll notice that all the FF7 fics revolve around Hojo. ^^

So, he was a hunched over old man in the game. He's Sephiroth's dad, and that handsome face had to come from somewhere. This is the first picture of Hojo that I did back in High School. It's not my favorite image, but I put a lot of effort into it. Here's an earlier piece that veered away from the pointy style. He actually looks a lot more like Helmholz from Xenogears than he does Hojo. At least I think so. Extra points to those of you who know who Helmholz is. (He's an even more obscure character than Hojo was in FF7). I always tried to give Hojo something resembling Sephiroth's bangs. Sometimes they got mistaken for cat ears. X_x I always feel sad whenever I go through the game and fight Hojo on the Sister Ray. It's that scene where he actually starts laughing at himself that made me start questioning what made him tick. I'm one of those weirdos who thinks of Hojo as an artist. He collects things, then cuts out the bits that he doesn't like, and puts the rest together. As to being an aesthetically pleasing artist, that's a different story. A later drawing of Hojo. I bet the monsters made better-behaved kids than Sephiroth did. X3 I always thought it would have been more poetic if Vincent fought Hojo alone on the Sister Ray like Frog gets to fight Magus alone in Chrono Trigger. But that also sounds pretty difficult. X_x This is an image I drew especially for Hojo.org back in the day. The request was for something amano-like, but I still think of Bat Simpson's voice when I look at the filename for this. I'd like a Hojo. EXTRA tentacles, please! Hojo, slumped over in the rain by the Sister Ray. A desktop that fits 1024x768 Hojo covers up Gast's death. A newer piece of fanart. :3 Two things I love the most - Hojo and Xenogears. :3 I'm not sure if this should be Hojo's gear, or if this is just a representation of Hojoas a gear... Old-school, pointy-banged Hojo, completely removed from the drama that normally surrounds him. Hojo holds his head. This image could also be used in place of any japanese man in a lab coat. Hojo straightens his tie. Only, he's headless, so it could be anybody. A line from a Voltaire song... This is one of the things I have framed. Lifeform Hojo N/A. His third form when you fight him in battle. Only chibi. And demented-looking. With the grey hair, he almost looks like Auron gone wrong. This was going to be the background for another Hojo page I was going to put up a long time ago, but I never used it. This was the first all-computerized drawing I ever did in Flash. I also did it right after I got my second car. Hojo as a flower. o_O Don't ask. I drew this after seeing HERO in theatres. This is one of the more evolved drawings of Hojo that I've done. I broke from my usual style of drawing him and it's turned out to be one of my favorite pieces of all time. This is one of my most recent drawings of Hojo. I normally leave off the mustache and make him look like less of a weasel, but the years have taken the pep out of my fangirl radiation, and I can draw someone much closer to the canon Hojo without flinching.I got into the habit of drawing Hojo with a very pronounced chin and a diamond-shaped head. I got that idea from an FF7 anime series trading card that I found a long time ago. Of course, now it's gone after multiple hard drive crashes. All google scans for it have come up negative as well. I'm a huge supporter of the school of thought that Hojo and Lucrecia were actually in love. But then again, something must have been going wrong there. Yay, soap opera plotbunnies. Hojo gets smacked. o_O Ouch. This is a keychain I made out of a shrinkydink. Unfortunately, I made the hole too small at the top, so it broke almost instantly. I couldn't edit out the lines, but I made some cool squiggles with the Liquify filter in photoshop. Hojo as a Turk! I'd been sitting in front of the Animaniacs for too long when I drew this one. Hojo as a female. I swear, I've done more drawings of a female Hojo, but they all got lost. Or burned. THE Hojo Spoiler. Hojo as a little boy. He probably wasn't this peppy, but that's the kind of argument that moves people to spend all their time writing fanfiction. Lined paper is the best medium ever.Hojo, singing Phantom of the Opera music. Lucrecia, asking him to stop.Back in the day, I used to roleplay Hojo over AIM a lot. For every person I played with , I had a different version of Hojo. Then things started getting goofy.Hojo cosplaying Citan, Sephiroth cosplaying Citan's daughter, Midori. Don't ask. I don't know what's going on in this one. @_@ Just a standard 3/4 view. Stripes is a combination of the original Hojo with Lifeform Hojo N/A's stripes on the arms. This was a preliminary drawing that I did before I started working out what I wanted to do with him as a fused character. Hojo is running! Somewhere... Probably important. ^^; This one, I also have framed. Hojo and his stuff. Basically, I took inventory of everything nerdy that I owned, or wanted to own, and drew it into a shelf in this picture. If he weren't so young, I could say this is right before Red XIII jumps him, but I'm guessing it's got to be some earlier horror. Like the cable bill. Another Lifeform Hojo variant. Here's something for the FF7 fans who'd like to see Hojo in pain. Owpain, being pulled apart by a photoshop filter. More transformmy pain. This one was done much earlier. Hojo and the Turks, some glass doors, and a big fan. Part of my ShinRa Glamour Desktops collection. Reeve is up in the FF7 fanart gallery. Bjork-inspired Heidegger doesn't need to be inflicted on anybody, and is staying on my hard drive. Hojo, looking tough. Ish. Hojo feeding Ying and Yang. This is a vectorized reconstruction of the way Lifeform Hojo looked straight out of the game. It took me a couple hours. The only screenshots I could find were tiny by even tinier. Lifeform Hojo, strangely twisted into something wasplike. Hojo's head, stylized lifeform body. A whole mess of lifeformmy Hojos, done tribal-style. A lifeform ready for a fight! Lifeform Hojo from the front and the back Smarmy, alien-looking Lifeform. Tribal Lifeform Desktop,
