Non Canon

Leftover fanart from a fancomic I wrote in Middle School,
in which Kefka looks nothing like Kefka, wears Nine Inch Nails
band t-shirts, and ends up with this big manly chin.
Yay, sacrelige. The original plot was this -
Celes and gang storm Kefka's Tower, not to destroy him,
but just to annoy the living @#$^ out of him, Animaniacs-style.
It was rife with homages to all the movies I used to watch when I was
twelve, and eventually falls into a sub-plot in which Terra falls in love
with Kefka, but can't decide whether she wants to leave her friends, or destroy
the world with Kefka. This thing was over 300 pages long, and took up at least
three sketchbooks, until it jumped the shark when I started
indiscriminantly adding in characters from other video games,
and was eventually abandoned when I became obsessed with Final Fantasy 7.

What you see here is art that I did when I was trying to revive my non-canon
FF6 project back in 2002. I'll be including scans of the original comic soon.



As a bit of an explaination for Kefka's weird hair,
when I was in middle school, I prefered the way the
sprites looked, so I based most of my character design
for the doujinshi on the way the sprites looked, rather
than the production artwork. Thus, the weirdness of Kefka's hair.
